Yum! Restaurants plans to pump USD150 million in India

US-based Yum! Restaurants has decided to make an investment of up to $150 million (around Rs 700 crore) in India with the aim to spread out its food chains, such as Pizza Hut and KFC and intends to have 1,000 stores by the end of fiscal 2015.
The sources informed that the conglomerate is also exploring to earn yearly revenue of USD 1 billion by fiscal 2015.
Sources added the investment needed the proposed endeavor will come from internal accruals of the company.
Presently, Yum! Restaurant runs approximately 150 Pizza Hut stores as well as 65 KFC outlets across India.
Earlier in the current financial year, the company intends to inaugurate its first restaurant under the brand of Taco Bell.
