Nokia 2690 is the new model to hit the Indian market. It has been branded as a smart release with great many features like a 1.8 inch TFT display supported 262k colors and a resolution of 128 X 160 pixels. The price of this phone is only 2750.

The sleek 2690 model has some utility basic features like a Bluetooth, FM radio and a slot that will fit the micro SD card to expand the memory to up to 2GB. The ultra performing phone can be used by Nokia regulars and has satisfactory features with an S40 user interface. The phone weighs only 81 grams, something very light considering other models with the same features.

It is available in hot pink, graphite, blue and white silver colors. The VGA camera is very basic without zoom or flash. The phone is enabled with Bluetooth connectivity and GPRS. The 3.5 mm head phone jack is used for audio playback while it is also laced with Opera mini for internet browsing.

The memory of the phone is low at 15MB but can be expanded with SD cards. The phone can also be used for email, messaging and SMS. It uses the standard Nokia OS platform, with a talk time of only 5 hours. It is a low budget phone which is one reason why the display is small otherwise most of the features are good in this cost effective phone which also has Nokia Life Tools.

BMW introduces 3-Series Touring

Germany-based luxury car maker BMW recently took wraps off its fifth-generation 3 Series Touring, which is more spacious inside than ever before.

The all-new 2013 3 Series Touring sedan is longer than the predecessor by 97mm, and its height is 11mm more at 1429mm.

Its 50mm longer wheelbase than the previous Touring allows it to provide an extra 35 litres of storage with the rear seats up. With the seats folded down, the new vehicle promises 1500 litres of space in total.

The 2013 3 Series Touring will be available in a choice of three advanced, powerful, yet economic engines.
