Tera Software signs agreements with Himachal Pradesh government

IT player, Tera Software has entered into a pact with Secretary (Information Technology), Governor of State of Himachal Pradesh to set up 2070 Common Service Centers (CSC) in Shimla and Mandi divisions in association with GNG Trading.

The agreement is anticipated to produce a revenue of Rs 600 million approximately.

According to the sources, these centers would be offering government services such as voter registration, voter identity cards, police complaint registration, vacancy listings, passport enquiry status, school board results, REFNIC, High Court cases list, government information and forms through websites under one roof for nominal fee.

The company would provide the propose services through the centers which would be build in all the panchayats and districts of both divisions in the coming four years.
The sources also revealed that the services like computer education, examination results, vocational education, micro finance, agriculture related services, utility bill payments, railway and bus ticket bookings would also be enclose under CSC scheme.  
 
Stock of Tera Software closed at Rs 37, down 5.79 per cent on Bombay Stock Exchange. The total volume of share traded was 35, 701 at BSE.

BMW introduces 3-Series Touring

Germany-based luxury car maker BMW recently took wraps off its fifth-generation 3 Series Touring, which is more spacious inside than ever before.

The all-new 2013 3 Series Touring sedan is longer than the predecessor by 97mm, and its height is 11mm more at 1429mm.

Its 50mm longer wheelbase than the previous Touring allows it to provide an extra 35 litres of storage with the rear seats up. With the seats folded down, the new vehicle promises 1500 litres of space in total.

The 2013 3 Series Touring will be available in a choice of three advanced, powerful, yet economic engines.
