Supreme Infrastructure bags big orders
Supreme Infrastructure has got two big contracts which are going to get the company Rs. 405.44 crore. The time period of the contracts is two years.
Both the contracts are related to construction and power transmission related work and with the kind of experience that the construction company has, it is not going to be very tough for it.
The first contract comes from Punjab Infrastructure Development Board which is based in Chandigarh. It is about building four-lane road and would involve Rs. 328.16 crore.
The second contract is from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution. It is for making transmission line and involves Rs. 77.28 crore.
The information about both the contracts was given in the BSE filing sent by the company on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the project of the Punjab government is going to be done by the joint venture that Supreme will form with Huamei Group Corporation and Niraj Cement Structurals.
For the second project, it is in partnership with Patwari Electricals, the company filing said.
After the news, the shares of the company fell down by 0.69 per cent to close at Rs. 186.50 on BSE.
