Toshiba Corp and Sony Corp have planned to trade off their factories that are producing the small LCD panel displays to their competitors, following which they will concentrate on the realignment of their liquid-crystal-display industry.

Due to an unwanted price upscale in the industry and the severe competition the struggling electronics sector in Japan re-evaluated its LCD panel plants portfolio.

Sony through the E3 has proclaimed that their motion-controlled system, Move, will be launched on September 19.

The Move package will comprise of an EyeToy camera and Sports Champions game that will cost $99.

It comes wrapped with PS3 for $399.

On the other hand if one wishes to opt for, bauble-topped Move it will be charged for $49 and the navigation controllers come for $39.

PlayStation Plus, an offering from Sony, comes with added value proposition that promises an "enhanced" experience in addition to the free stuff that a regular PlayStation Network proffers.

The recent demos, of the beta version invites discount on PSN stuff and patches which goes further to explain that a yearly subscription costs approximately $50.

Also in addition to this comes the access to content that one can have only when has a subscription, which extends to explain that the content access is denied when one cancels the registration, locking one into the service forever.

Sony has launched a new machine in J series with the name of the Vaio J Touch All-In-One PC.

It has 21.5 inch (diagonal) 1920 X 1080 widescreen touch screen display.

This is a multimedia machine which offers Blu-Ray disc for full entertainment package. This PC facilitates users to watch 1080p high definition.

Some other features loaded in this PC are Windows 7 Home premium and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi.

Sony has denied all the rumors on the rumors based on the price-cut of its PlayStation 3 games console.

Mark Howsen, Sony Computer Entertainment's UK sales director confirmed that company never discussed or hinted the possibility of a price cut at the E3 entertainment conference at the same time he rubbished the circulating rumors of upcoming two new PS3 models.

It is supposedly believed that the rumors initiated when gaming web site Industry Gamers, claimed that US Sony Style online store gave a price-cut on the PS3 gaming console from $299 to $199.

Sony believes that the current surge in the e-book market is slowly gaining when compared to a traditional print publishing and in the next five years it will rule over it, as reported by Steve Haber, the President of Sony’s Digital Reading division.

He further states that books will slowly fade away just like the music industry, with the current surge of digitization found everywhere.

Sony India has announced the launch of Vaio E-series of laptops with varied screen sizes and sleek color patterns in the Indian market.

The VAIO E series notebooks are included in the EA series with 14-inch models while EB series comprise of 15.5-inch models.

Masaru Tamagawa, managing director, Sony India, said, ''The E-series with vibrant and colourful looks are perfect for everyday browsing.''

Sony has launched a new notebook of VAIO E series. They are of vibrant colors .These would be available in 14 inches for EA series while 15.5 inches in EB series. These laptops will bear color patterns which are gradient that looks attractive and will have pink, brown, black, white and green with dot gradation.

These notebooks have high resolution in the tune of 1366x 768 pixels and can support full HD format. But this will depend on the format chosen.

Sony will sell these VAIO EA and EB series notebooks, starting Rs34, 990 onwards.
