Availability of Adamo XPS Laptops Announced by Dell
The world of ultra-thin and ultra-light laptops recently added a new member to its list as Dell officially announced the availability of the Adamo XPS, touting it to be the world's thinnest laptop which measures a mere 9.9 mm, or four-tenth of an inch. The system opens with a simple swipe of a finger, and the slender laptop comes equipped with a 4GB DDR3 RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 (1.4Ghz) ultra-low voltage processor and a 13.4-inch HD display.
Dell drops the plans to launch MP3 player
Already the company was taking the move as bad, and now Dell has finally made it official that it has dropped its plans to launch a digital media player tied to an online store.
Prior to this, Dell had planned to unveil a MP3 player this year that could potentially compete with Apple's iconic iPod line and Microsoft's struggling Zune player.
But as the market reports of 2006, suggest, Apple’s iPods have a more dominating market of 70% compared to Zune, which has a market of just 4%.
Dell Inspiron Mini 12 Netbook launched in Japan
Last week, it was reported that Dell is planning to unveil a new larger version of the Dell Inspiron Mini 9, which will be the Mini 12 Netbook. Now the news had been made official since Dell lunched it in Japan on Sunday. It has been learnt that by the mid of November, the 12 Inch version of this Dell netbook will be launched in the U.S.
