Acer announced that it will be launching a new consumer Smartphone "beTouch E400". This will operate on Android 2.1 OS and has features like Acer UI, Smart LED notifications, social network support.

With LED smart lighting, this Acer model inform about new messages, missed calls and low battery by illuminating the set with different colors. It also has remarkable Li-Po 1090 mAh battery, which can support calls up to five hours and can go through a standby time of up to 17 days.

Acer recently announced the launch of 'beTouch E400 smart phone', which runs on Android 2.1 operating system and features with Acer UI, Smart LED notifications, social network support.

The new Taiwanese smartphone, with a 3G connectivity and Wi-Fi to surf the web, is designed for those who want to switch to internet browsing on the move.

Acer has launched five new phones at Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona. The five new models showcased were Liquid e, beTouch E110, beTouch E400 and the Windows Mobile phone NeoTouch P400.

The company also announced that it will launch Android 2.1 based Ferrari smartphone with enhanced performance and sophisticated design in March.

A new smartphone series dubbed 'Liquid' was introduced on Tuesday by Acer. This new series, which has been priced at Rs. 24,900, boasts of impressive multimedia, web browsing, social media integration and video streaming capabilities.

The Acer A1, the first ever Snapdragon processor powered Android phone, has now been released and is available for immediate sale.

Earlier the phone was available only in white, but now, users can choose to pick up a black version of the A1 at about $539 across UK (about Rs. 25,000).

Today Acer announced the launch of its netbook, Aspire one D250, with dual operating system.  

According to a press release, the Aspire one D250, which is 10.1 inches in size, offers the speed of Android and the full and reliable functionality of windows.

It also has Win XP OS, which will make the consumer more comfortable to use it.
