Sony plans PlayStation Smartphone
Sony is working on a smartphone that could incorporate a Sony Reader and even Sony PlayStation, according to a media report.
The smartphone will provide access to the games from Sony's home and portable consoles as users will be able to download them directly onto the device from the network of the company.
The feature could add to the appeal of the smartphone for young buyers. Sony offers thousands of games on its network which can be accessed easily by the users.

In another development, Sony is also planning go come out with a device that could challenge Apple's iPad. Sony's CFO Nobuyuki Oneda did not give any details but indicated that the company is looking to compete in the segment.
He further said his company might be a little behind on the time frame but it is looking to become an active player in segment.
