Satyam Rolls Out New Facility In Pune

In order to diversify its business footprints, Satyam Computer Services Ltd has opened a development center in the Pune Special Economic Zone at the Rajiv Gandhi InfoTech Park, Hinjawadi.

The sources close to the company revealed that the proposed high tech facility, which is spread over 4,75,000 square-foot of land, will eventually accommodate 4750 associates.

With over several hundred employees and 30 development centers in India, Satyam has extensive presence around the world with 19 development centers located in different countries of the globe.

The company is also helping international automotive conglomerates.

The company further disclosed that their investment in this development center not only indicates that India is emerging as an innovation leader, but it also signal that Pune is becoming country’s next IT hub.

Stock of Satyam Computer Services ended the day at Rs 330, down 6.14 per cent on National Stock Exchange.

Germany-based luxury car maker BMW recently took wraps off its fifth-generation 3 Series Touring, which is more spacious inside than ever before.

The all-new 2013 3 Series Touring sedan is longer than the predecessor by 97mm, and its height is 11mm more at 1429mm.

Its 50mm longer wheelbase than the previous Touring allows it to provide an extra 35 litres of storage with the rear seats up. With the seats folded down, the new vehicle promises 1500 litres of space in total.

The 2013 3 Series Touring will be available in a choice of three advanced, powerful, yet economic engines.
