Sapphire launches super-fast graphics card

Sapphire Technology has come up with a new Sapphire Radeon HD 5970 graphics card which would be the fastest in its category, as claimed by the company. The card is equipped with innovative features and has nearly twice the computing power as the Sapphire HD 5870 for making the operations fast.

Radeon HD 5970 supports the Direct Compute 11 instruction set of Microsoft DirectX 11 and capable to provide multithread communication through CPU. The super-fast graphic card, with clock speeds of around 725MHz and 1000MHz, is capable to offer a resolution of up to 7680 x 1600 for displaying images over an array of several monitors.

The card reader is capable to address storage needs of users through 2GB of fifth generation GDDR5 memory. The card reader is claimed to be very efficient for offering high speed at DirectX 10.1, DirectX 10 and DirectX 9.0 games and applications.

The firm has made it very power efficient to consume low power in both 2D and idle modes. It has been loaded with hardware UVD for smoothly decoding Blu-ray and HD DVD content of different code convertors.
