RIM Purchases Toronto Based Mobile Software Developer Firm Viigo

Viigo, a Toronto based software developer organization, has been purchased by Research in Motion, on Saturday.

Viigo’s President and Chief Executive Officer Mark Ruddock said that the team has tied up with RIM's worldwide business group and will carry on to bring proficiency in BlackBerry application development and real-time content delivery to the BlackBerry platform.

Content such as news, politics, weather, sports etc is delivered to by Viigo in a format which is easily readable.

Observing this in mind, the always mounting struggle in the smart phone market, mechanized corporations attempt their most excellent to present something fresh and distinctive to entice consumers to purchase their equipments.

RIM by obtaining Viigo may be arranging to take on Apple Inc. and its group of application manufacturers.

RIM has not purchased the company for just the thought of competing in the mobile app bionetwork. In 2008 it has purchased Chalk Media Corp. that was an expert in constructing mobile applications; for over $23-million.

RIM is planning to give out its fourth-quarterly economic income information, and market forecasters are busy calculating what the report may illustrate.

Germany-based luxury car maker BMW recently took wraps off its fifth-generation 3 Series Touring, which is more spacious inside than ever before.

The all-new 2013 3 Series Touring sedan is longer than the predecessor by 97mm, and its height is 11mm more at 1429mm.

Its 50mm longer wheelbase than the previous Touring allows it to provide an extra 35 litres of storage with the rear seats up. With the seats folded down, the new vehicle promises 1500 litres of space in total.

The 2013 3 Series Touring will be available in a choice of three advanced, powerful, yet economic engines.
