Reliance Communications ties knot with Atom Technologies
Anil Ambani-led Reliance Communications (RCOM) has tied knot with Atom Technologies, a leading m-commerce solutions provider. Under the arrangement, RCOM will now offer a fast, secure, inter-operable and the most convenient platform to conclude payment transactions using Reliance Mobile.
The deal will offer multiple banks (Indian and Foreign) as well as merchants’ transaction on a common platform, thereby allowing its subscribers to make payments across the entire merchant base.
Through the latest move, Reliance subscribers will now be able to buy insurance services, movie tickets, books, consumer goods, holiday packages, bus-train tickets and recharge DTH services using their Reliance Mobile connection.
The newly launched services will available under R-world option, for all GSM customers, across the country. Presently, Atom Technologies have over 100 merchants registered for mobile commerce transactions.
Shares of the company declined Rs 3.9, or 2.19%, to settle at Rs 174.10.
