Gas leakage affects workers at Samsung's Noida Facility

A suspected gas leakage from washing machine assembly plant of Consumer Electronics multinational Samsung in Noida Phase-II has caused panic across the region. The gas leakage affected more than 60 workers who were later rushed to the hospitals.
Condition of five works, as per hospital sources, is critical while some are out of danger and being discharged. The critical employees include Ajay Singh, Mona, Prem Shanker, Harsh, and Neeru.
Fedders Lloyd wins order worth Rs 110 crore

Roto Pumps secures export order worth AU$ 0.5 million
Noida-based Roto Pumps has secured an export order worth AU$ 0.5 million (Rs 2 crore) from Blue Water for their Water Desalination Project in Sydney, Australia.
Blue Water is a joint venture of John Holland Pty Ltd and Veolia Water Australia Ltd.
Roto Pumps Limited manufactures and distributes industrial pumps in India. Its products include progressive cavity pumps, twin screw pumps, and accessories. The company exports its products to the People's Republic of China, the Middle East, Far East Asia, and Africa.
Uflex to setup a greenfield project in Mexico with investment of $108 million
Noida-headquartered Uflex Limited would soon set up a greenfield project at Mexico for manufacturing polyester film. The capital outlay for the project has been pegged at 108 million dollars.
UFLEX LIMITED engages in the manufacture and marketing of packaging products. It serves customers in approximately 80 countries worldwide.
In February, 2008 the company has raised about Rs 358.12 crore through issue of shares and warrants on preferential basis to two Cyprus-based firms Tegraceen Holdings and Vesteffect Ltd.
