Polaris Software to acquire Laser Soft for Rs 52 crore

Polaris Software, a leading financial technology company, has signed a Definitive Agreement with Laser Soft and its Principal Shareholders to acquire 100% equity shares of Laser Soft subject for Rs 52 crore.
However the decision is subject to the regulatory approvals.
Chennai-based Laser Soft is a software product company established in 1986 by Suresh B Kamath. The company is focused on development of products for the banking and financial service sector.
The stock of Polaris Software is presently trading at Rs 149, up 1% compared to its previous close of Rs 148.
