People want iPad 3 with faster processor, better speaker & USB port: survey

People want the iPad 3 to offer faster speed, a better speaker and a USB port, a fresh survey by the Website TechBargains revealed.

According to TechBargains, around 85 per cent of the people surveyed said that they wanted the next-generation iPad to come equipped with a quad-core processor so that it could offer faster processing.

Eighty-two per cent of the respondents said that better speaker would be the most important thing they wanted in the iPad 3, while 82 per cent respondents said they wanted the next-generation iPad to include a USB port.

The website concluded that people want the iPad 3 to offer them the features of a laptop.

Rumors about the iPad 3 have long been swirling on the Web. MacRumors recently claimed that the iPad 3 would feature a higher resolution retina display measuring 9.7 inches diagonally.

MacRumors said it obtained a raw iPad 3 display, which had double the amount of pixels (2048 by 1536) as compared with the current iPad.

The Cupertino, Calif.-based Apple is widely expected to launch the iPad 3 sometime between March 5 and March 9 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.
