Nokia revenues decline, Huawei crosses Rs 10,000 crore

Leading mobile handset maker from Finland, Nokia has suffered a huge decline in revenue in India. There has been almost a decline of 15% in India revenue. It was found out to be Rs 14,000 crore for the period under review.

However, Chinese telecom equipment maker Huawei has registered an impressive revenue report. This has been informed by a recent study.

The revenue of the company has increased by almost 76% and reported to be Rs 11,000 crore in the financial year 2009-10.

However, the decline in revenue has not affected the position of the market leader Nokia. It has retained its top spot despite the revenue dip. It has number of handsets loaded with excellent features it its product line. Its market share still remains the same.

The report on the revenue record was prepared based on a study by Voice&Data. Voice&Data is a publication of Cyber Media group.

As per its report, there has been a growth of 18.6% in the preceding year in the telecom equipment and devices industry.

Germany-based luxury car maker BMW recently took wraps off its fifth-generation 3 Series Touring, which is more spacious inside than ever before.

The all-new 2013 3 Series Touring sedan is longer than the predecessor by 97mm, and its height is 11mm more at 1429mm.

Its 50mm longer wheelbase than the previous Touring allows it to provide an extra 35 litres of storage with the rear seats up. With the seats folded down, the new vehicle promises 1500 litres of space in total.

The 2013 3 Series Touring will be available in a choice of three advanced, powerful, yet economic engines.
