Nokia Adds 3 Models to CDMA Phones in China

As confirmed by the company on Wednesday, Nokia has released as many as 3 new CDMA mobile handsets in China, the Nokia 3806, 1506 and 6316s. The Nokia 6316s is, however, GPS equipped as well.
While the 6316s is a 3G phone with a slide-out keyboard, 2.2 inch screen and a 2 megapixel camera, the 3806 is "standard CDMA monoblock" device with a 2.2 inch display and 2 megapixel camera. The final new phone, the 1506, is Nokia's most cost effective CDMA handset so far.
The 6316s is preloaded with applications, one of which is China Telecom's e-mail app. The 3806, on the other hand, is shipped with a preloaded Health Assistant application, as has been backed by Nokia.
Nokia has lately been making as many marks as it can on the Chinese market. One major reason for this seems to be the country's rapid economic growth, and like many other firms, Nokia also wants to be a part of it.
The 6316s and 3806 are expected to hit the market in 2010's first quarter. 1506, however, will be available by year end.
