L&T Construction Bags Rs 797cr Building Tender
According to a regulatory statement, L&T Construction, during the second quarter this fiscal, accounted that it has successfully won an order worth Rs 797 crore in the building and factories segment business.
However, the company said in a regulatory filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), company officials accounted that the order has been secured from a chief mixed use building developer, which predominantly comprised of residential business deals such as retail and commercial developments at construction sites in Mumbai.
Moreover, giving more details about the order, the company officials further added that along with this order, they have already obtained the design and build contracts in the airport, IT Park, commercial and residential space tender.
"L&T has secured from reputed customers new orders aggregating to Rs. 975 crore for the construction of a mixed-use commercial development and construction of the main civil works for an IT campus”, while sharing his views about the issue in an official statement, company officials asserted. “These orders further enhance the order book of the company which has already secured major design-and-build contracts in airports, IT parks, and commercial and residential space”.
On the other hand, Larsen & Toubro were trading at Rs 1,532.50, down 1.63% in the latest share index.
