ING Vysya Bank post 22% increase in Q3 Net profit

Bangalore-based private sector lender, ING Vysya Bank Ltd. has reported 21.7 per cent surge in its net profit at Rs 52.05 crore for the third quarter ended December 31,
2008, as compared to the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
The lender had registered net profit of Rs 42.8 crore for the quarter ended 31 December 2007.
The bank's total income for the period surged up by 48.9 per cent to Rs 769.3 crore compared to the same quarter last year.
While, the operating profit stood at Rs 106.5 crore, a growth of 30.3 per cent over the year ago period.
The stock of ING Vysya settled the day on Friday at Rs 140 on BSE. The scrip had 52-week-high and low of Rs 360 and Rs 113 respectively.
