Infosys Project in Orissa to See Investment of Rs. 300 Crore
Sources are speculated that IT giant Infosys is all set to establish its second project in Orissa, which will involve an investment of a whopping Rs. 300 crore.
Reports are that the investment plans were shared by Infosys Human Resource Director T V Mohandas Pai with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in a meeting which happened last evening.
With as many as 3,000 IT professionals already busy working at the company's first project in the state, the second project will provide employment opportunities to as many as 5,000 more professionals.
The venue picked for the second project is the IT valley on the side of the National Highway no-5 between the state capital and Khurda town, it has been speculated.
With the State Government agreeing to provide all the required water and power for the upcoming project, the work is all set to start soon.
