Hyundai launches the New Verna

With an aim to strengthen its position in the A3 segment, Hyundai Motors India Limited has recently announced the launch of the next-gen Verna in the Indian market.

Though, the product has been able to sell over 80,000 units in the Indian market since its launch in 2006, the company believes that the new-generation product will be able to add incremental volumes to the sale of the product.

It is to be mentioned there that the product sells around 2,000 units per months and the company expects the sales to go up by 20-25% with the launch of the new model. Notably, the new Verna Transform is expected to grab the consumer who is eying to upgrade from the Accent or is driving a Verna for the past few years.

The company has made considerable changes to the exteriors and interiors of the product. H W Park, MD & CEO, HMIL, said that the new Verna will set a new benchmark in the sedan segment.

Moreover, Park also mentioned the fact that the new model will transform the ownership experience of the product into a thrilling one for the Indian consumer.
