Drive the New Prado Diesel in India
Toyota Kirloskar Motor comes to India with its new diesel Prado Landcruiser, the popular Sports Utility Vehicle from the house of the giant manufacturer of automobiles. This new SUV is ready to race with other SUVs in market that are Mitsubishi Montero, Audi Q5, BMW X3 and the Land Rover Freelander 2.
The company has very high expectations from this modern SUV, which boasts about 10% market share, currently.
Prado has sold over 1.56 million units in over 170 countries so far and the customer response in India since its launch in 2004 has exceeded expectations, according to Hiroshi Nagakawa, Managing Director TKM.
Some changes which are done in the earlier model is a 3.0 litre diesel engine with Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System for driving stability at city and highway speeds. Among other features making the car exceptional are 3 zone automatic climate control, multi-information display and DAC (Down-hill Assist Control) and VSC (Vehicle Stability Control).
This 7-seater SUV is a new sensation available for Rs. 52.74 lakh ex-showroom, Bangalore and Rs 52.4 lakh, ex-showroom in New Delhi.
