Drug producer, Dr Reddy`s Laboratories has informed that it has received final sanction from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to sell (on prescription basis) its anti-convulsant drug Primidone, in the strengths of 15 mg/ml and 30 mg/ml.

Primidone drug is used mainly to cure complex partial, simple partials, generalized tonic-lonic seizures, myoclonic, akinetic seizures.

Recently, the company has got final approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to market Nabumetone tablets, in the strengths of 500 mg and 750 mg.

Stock of Dr Reddys Laboratories ended the day at Rs 465, up 3.37 percent on National Stock Exchange (NSE). The total volume of shares traded was 766,920 at the NSE.
