Cyclone 'PHET' affects the launch of Tata Nano
Tata Motors' Sanand factory witnessed two major events recently. One of course was the Nano car, while the other was the coming of cyclone PHET in the country.
The cyclone created ruckus and did a lot of damage. Strong winds and water affected not only the machinery but also the new cars.
Also various events that were supposed to take place marking the inauguration were also postponed. And all this happened just two hours after the unit was unveiled.
Not only the officials of the Tata Motors, but others too like the journalists and also government officials had to run for the cover.
One of the photo journalist got injured during the happening.
But the good thing is that the whole havoc ended one and half hours later and people began to fix up the things.
As per the latest news reports, cyclone PHET has changed its course in the afternoon and is now moving towards Oman. Met officials say that it may turn back but if its does the intensity of the same will be lowered.
Such cyclones are a part of monsoon, which has come to India.
