Business Deal Between Suzlon and Australia's Infigen Energy Secured
One of the leading wind turbine makers, Suzlon Energy, has entered into an agreement with Australia's Infigen Energy to provide 20 units of 2.1 MW wind turbine generators.
This is the second order from Infigen, making the total order to 183 MW. The installation of wind turbine generators would be done at one of the wind farms in Infigen's pipeline of future projects in New South Wales, Australia.
Infigen Energy is a leading specialist in renewable energy business with interests in 41 wind farms across Australia, US, Germany and France.
Presently, Suzlon is delivering Infigen's 141 MW capital wind farm under engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) turnkey contract.
On the Bombay Stock Exchange, Suzlon shares were trading firm at Rs 72.50, up 1.54 % at 1030 IST.
