Availability of Adamo XPS Laptops Announced by Dell
The world of ultra-thin and ultra-light laptops recently added a new member to its list as Dell officially announced the availability of the Adamo XPS, touting it to be the world's thinnest laptop which measures a mere 9.9 mm, or four-tenth of an inch. The system opens with a simple swipe of a finger, and the slender laptop comes equipped with a 4GB DDR3 RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 (1.4Ghz) ultra-low voltage processor and a 13.4-inch HD display.
The Adamo range of laptops was launched in March 2008 by Dell, and the pencil thin XPS is the latest offering of the same popular range. Running on the latest Windows 7 operating system, the machine weights a little over 3 pounds and sports slim measurements of 13.39x10.71 inch.
"Our engineers and designers are breaking new ground and throwing away the old rules with the introduction of Adamo XPS. We think the Adamo XPS will inspire an emotional connection with anyone who sees it", said Alex Gruzen, Senior Vice President of Dell Consumer Products.
With an extended battery life of up-to 2 hours 30 minutes, 2 megapixel integrated webcam and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support, among other attractive features, the Amado XPS is priced at Rs.
