AMU Signs MoU With 7 US Universities
In order to improve its infrastructure, library and research facilities, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with seven US universities.
Speaking with media persons, AMU spokesperson Rahat Abrar said, “The academic tie-up will help us in providing better career opportunities to our students.”
Abrar also said that with the help of these tie-ups, three of its educational institutions would soon start students and faculty exchange programmes.
During his recent visit to US, AMU Vice Chancellor Professor P K Abdul Azis is believed to have visited the George Washington University Law School and Johns Hopkins University’s Nitze School of Advanced International Studies.
He also had detailed discussions with Ambassador Raminder S. Jassal, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India in Washington.
