13,000 Jobs Likely to be offered by Infosys in Campus HiringIndia's IT giant, Infosys Technologies is most likely going to offer some 13,000 jobs to students during campus recruitment. These jobs will be offered to fresh engineering graduates who will then be joining the firm during the 2011 financial year.

As confirmed by Nandita Gurjar, senior VP of the company, Infosys has already started going to campuses across about 700 engineering colleges. For the 2009 fiscal year as well, the company had offered about 20,000 jobs to engineering graduates, although only about 75-80% actually ended up joining.

Like every other Indian IT company, Infosys has stopped offering jobs to students who still have a year of studies to go, and now lands up in campuses for students who are already in their final semesters. As per official figure shared, Infosys will close the 2009 fiscal year with about 18,000 new and 3, 5000 experienced hiring's, and is expecting to carry on the same number to the coming year as well.

The package offered for students on campuses, however, will be the same as last year.
